All adults are sold spayed/neutered unless noted otherwise. After you have selected which dog you want, I will take him/her to the Veterinarian to be spayed or neutered if it hasn’t already been done. They will have a full heath checkup, a dental cleaning and have any vaccinations done that are needed. Their price is based on how much the vet charges for these services. So, you are basically getting the dog for free and just paying the vet bill. After the full vet exam, they may go home with you. You will be given their medical and vaccination records, a bill of sale, and instructions on how to transfer the microchip into your name, should they get lost. No AKC registration papers will be given.
All the dogs on this page were raised in my home for the first year of their life but have been in my kennel since turning one. They are used to being around other animals, lots of different people, including children. They are used to having 24 hour access to a doggy door to go outside and potty so you will need to train them to go potty where you want them to go. Most people who have adopted my older dogs, report that it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for them to adjust to their new “house rules.”
