A Reservation Should Be Specific
Royal Puppy Love does not use a pre-born wait-list queue. When an available puppy is right for your family, you reserve that specific puppy through the purchase options on the puppy’s profile page. The reservation payment removes uncertainty only when both sides understand what it covers.
Before You Pay
- Confirm the puppy’s name, total purchase price, and what amount is due now.
- Read whether the reservation or holding fee is refundable and under what circumstances.
- Confirm when the remaining balance is due.
- Understand pickup or delivery responsibilities and any separate transportation charges.
- Save the listing, invoice, written terms, and payment confirmation.
Call or text after submitting your reservation so pickup or delivery can be arranged and any timing questions can be answered.
Choose Traceable Payment
Credit and debit cards create a clear transaction record and generally provide better consumer protections than cash-like transfers. Royal Puppy Love accepts cards online and can also take cards in person or by phone for convenience.
No matter whom you buy from, do not allow a stranger to pressure you into gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, Cash App, or Venmo. For similar reasons, be cautious about sending a money order or cashier’s check to someone you have not independently verified. In-person visits and cash payments are welcome when the puppy and seller can be confirmed face to face.
Deadlines Protect the Puppy’s Placement
Puppies must be paid in full by eight weeks of age unless different written arrangements are approved. If a puppy cannot go home at eight weeks, ask about the current per-day boarding fee and pay any applicable boarding charges in advance.
If the balance is not paid and pickup or delivery arrangements are not made, the puppy may be relisted without refunding the holding or reservation fee. Clear deadlines prevent a puppy from being held indefinitely while another qualified family is turned away.
Refund Expectations Belong in Writing
A payment dispute is much easier to prevent than resolve. Read the refund and cancellation policy before paying. Ask how the terms apply if the buyer changes plans, misses a deadline, the breeder determines the puppy cannot be placed, or a veterinary concern changes the sale.
Keep every payment connected to a written invoice or order showing the puppy, amount, date, and purpose.
